We are excited to welcome Lena, a bilingual Occupational Therapist and a member of the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ), to our multidisciplinary team.
Lena is passionate about mental health and holistic well-being. She brings diverse experience working with geriatric, adult, and pediatric clients during her academic and professional journey. She currently supports individuals on medical leave or transitioning back to work in a private clinical setting.
During her academic training, Lena specialized in mental health and return-to-work support, deepening her expertise in tools and strategies relevant to private practice. Her approach integrates creativity, empathy, and practical interventions that empower clients to regain autonomy and reconnect with what matters most to them.
Lena is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and culturally sensitive space for her clients. Driven by curiosity and ongoing professional development, she continuously refines her methods to meet each person’s unique needs with care, professionalism, and compassion.
Laurence Roy is a licensed psychoeducator with several years of experience working in the public health system, primarily supporting individuals facing severe behavioral challenges. She also has clinical experience with the Directorate of Youth Protection (DPJ) and has completed training placements in school environments, pediatric psychiatry, and addiction recovery settings.
Throughout her professional journey, Laurence has worked with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties. This has enabled her to build a strong, adaptable skillset rooted in compassion, structure, and clinical expertise.
Her interventions are personalized, strengths-based, and centered on each individual’s unique reality. She believes deeply in the adaptive potential of every person and uses her inclusive, empathetic approach to foster emotional healing and autonomy.
Laurence is passionate about offering accessible, non-judgmental, and culturally respectful care. Her group sessions are interactive, validating, and focused on equipping participants with practical tools that foster stability, confidence, and emotional growth.
Marline Stécie Nelson is a compassionate and experienced mental health therapist and clinical social worker, recognized for her dedication to delivering accessible, client-centered care. She has been a proud member of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ) for over seven years.
Marline holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Université de Montréal, along with a Certificate in Care Management and Social Services. Her diverse clinical background includes working with individuals and families navigating mental health challenges, neurodevelopmental disorders, homelessness, and systemic barriers—particularly within Inuit communities, marginalized populations, and complex care contexts.
Fluent in both French and English, Marline serves the entire province of Quebec through virtual mental health therapy. She is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships grounded in transparency, cultural humility, and emotional safety.
In addition to her work at October Wellness, Marline currently holds the position of Clinical Coordinator at the CLSC Saint-Michel, where she continues to mentor colleagues and contribute to interdisciplinary care.
Her clinical style is rooted in warmth, respect, and meaningful connection. Marline believes that healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and empowered to reclaim their strengths.
